LVN / LPN Job Opening
Procare Therapy staffing is currently seeking an LPN/LVN for contract position with a school in Tracy, CA for the new 2024/25 school year!  This is an amazing school district with tons of support and wonderful colleagues. If this sounds like something you would be interested, lets talk about it

Job Type:

• Onsite
• Full-Time 31.5 hours week
• New 2024/25 School Year
• General Nurse Duties
• TK-8th grade caseload

Qualifications:

•  Associates / Bachelor level degree in Nursing 
• Current and Active State Certificates
• Accepting New Graduates
• Drug Screen and Background check required

Duties
•    Communicate effectively and appropriately in both oral and written form;
•    Observe special education student(s) on a regular basis to detect needs
•    Act as a support and resource for student(s) in classroom setting;
•    Attend monthly nursing meetings;
•    Assist with all academic and vocational programming;
•    Assist with activities of daily living;
•    Report to the campus nurse regarding all medical issues;
•    Provide medical care for children in educational setting;
•    Administer medication and treatment as outlined by health care plan/IEP;
•    Assist with student feeding;
•    Make recommendations on health needs of students;
•    Ability to utilize technological devices or mechanical devices to support student (i.e. communication devices, AAC devices, hoyer lifts, standers, wheelchairs, etc.);
•    Conduct student health screenings as indicated;
•    Assist in the care of a student who suffered an injury or emergency illness;
